It’s been a fairly smooth week, mostly dealing with the usual challenges that come as our parents age and health concerns grow. My dad’s unhealthy decisions are finally catching up with him, which has meant I’ve been taking on more responsibilities, and I’ll need to adjust my priorities with that moving forward. Plus, on Friday at work, I misstepped on my left foot, making running a bit uncomfortable. But it’s nothing serious at the moment—just a common bump in the road for me, even if it’s a bit frustrating.
