Training Log 3/01/2026-3/07/2026
Not naming names, but someone might have or might not have gotten me sick on vacation. It’s just a little upper lung congestion and a mysterious, random cough, but it didn’t affect my run along the cliffs of Kauai. It just made me go slower and stop frequently to take it all in. I did some hiking for a couple of days and kayaked one day; it was mainly a relaxing float on a calm river. Back to work next week for my enjoyment.

Random gallery of photos from my enjoyable week in Kauai and my first visit to the island. It is the smallest of the inhabited Hawaiian islands and one of the oldest. It’s famous for filming Jurassic Park (Waimea Canyon) and is also one of the wettest places on Earth. I didn’t get to explore the Na Pali Coast much because of time, mostly, but I did experience a good mix of everything else on the “Garden Island.”
