Training Log 4/26/2026-5/2/2026
I kept the overall mileage low this week but included more tempo runs to boost speed. If the weather stays good next week, I plan to run more in the Sierra Mountains to focus on climbing for my final intensive week, but my pacing will be way slower.

Not much to report this week due to life’s events, but I wanted to share one of my favorite animals I miss spending time with. He is simply called Pud’n in the donkey community. Among all the donkeys I've known, he’s one of the few who almost seem human in many ways. He enjoys just being with you and will even lean in for a kiss when you approach. There’s not an ounce of meanness in him, and he would never abandon you. A gentle giant, he can throw a tantrum if he doesn’t get his way, like a child. Now retired, he mostly relaxes at home, but sometimes he works with young donkeys to teach them better ways, and in doing so, he’s helped me become a better person.
You never know where or who will teach you life’s lessons.
